Premier Driving School maintains the best educators and staff who participate in continuing education on a yearly basis to ensure that your student is getting the most current and accurate information possible.
Our custom curriculum is taught by certified instructors who lead discussions & engage our students in the learning process.
We understand that every classroom presents a unique group of learners that varies not only in abilities, but also in learning styles. Each of our lessons will incorporate all the learning styles, including auditory, visual and kinesthetic.
Premier Driving School encourages parents to become an active part of the learning process and teaching them effective ways to coach their new drivers.
Skills & Attitudes
We teach your student not only the physical skills but also the mental skills required for safe driving. This includes, how to think behind the wheel, how to plan ahead and how to anticipate the actions of other drivers.
Owners and operators of Premier Driving School
Hi! My name is Craig Haueter and my wife and I are the owners of Premier Driving School. I am a DOL state certified Examiner, Trainer of Examiners & Instructor. I have worked with the youth of our community in various capacities from coaching to teaching for over 35 yrs. This allows him to connect with students quickly, thus creating a positive atmosphere for learning. He has the ability to engage students and create a fun, thriving learning environment while still maintaining control of the classroom.
Hi, my name is Steven Nundahl. I have been with Premier Driving School since February of 2018 and do both behind the wheel instruction and in classroom training. I enjoy teaching our students to drive safely and efficiently on the roadways. Teaching students about the responsibility it is to operate a vehicle on the road is a passion of mine. I recently took a continuing education course and one thing that stood out to me was "Safety is not a job; Safety is a passion!" In the age of distraction, we live in, teaching and preaching safety is very important. I thoroughly enjoy working with our students during this very important milestone in life.
I was born and raised in Kennewick, WA and graduated from Southridge High School. GO SUNS! I graduated in 2012 and married my high school sweetheart in 2016. We live in Kennewick, with our two dogs, River and Oakley. I enjoy all things sports, especially football. I have played football throughout middle school and high school and have even played Semi-pro for the local Tri-City Rage. You will notice lots of Minnesota Vikings merch on my desk/person, do not hold that against me!
Hi! My name is Myel Nundahl. I joined Premier Driving School in October of 2012 and am a Behind-The-Wheel instructor and recently became a Certified Examiner. Working with the teenagers is a lot of fun for me. I like getting to know them and making the driving experience fun for them while maintaining a positive learning environment. Our team of instructors work very well together and have a high level of insight, knowledge and combined teaching techniques. I feel that all students can benefit regardless of their learning or driving capabilities or their comfort level.
I was born and raised in the Tri-Cities & have 2 sons and a daughter-in-law. My oldest son has followed in my footsteps and works as an Instructor/Examiner here at Premier with me. Until recently I enjoyed instructing as a part time position, now it is my only position. I have a combined 12 years in the medical field and many years of experience working in the customer service industry. I love to sing and enjoy karaoke.
My name Jenny Williamson and I am one of the behind-the-wheel and classroom instructors with Premier Driving School. I was born and raised in Tri-Cities and graduated from Kamiakin High School. I played soccer throughout high school before moving on to Central Washington University to play there. I have 2 teenagers, a husband, 2 dogs, and a cat (oh, and a fish. Do fish count as pets?). I currently coach girls soccer and bowling at Pasco High School.
I thrive on positive energy and meaningful opportunities to grow. I believe in the fail to succeed concept and try to instill that in to the students during the course of the classes and drives. I thoroughly enjoy sharing in the excitement with all of our students and building a relationship throughout the course. It is our duty to teach, educate, and join with them in this new adventure into becoming a responsible driver and adult. There are so many chances in life to help and guide teens, and I am so thankful I get to share it with your teen!
