Learning Styles

We understand that every classroom presents a unique group of learners that varies not only in abilities, but also in learning styles. Each of our lessons will incorporate all the learning styles, including auditory, visual and kinesthetic.

Premier Driving School encourages parents to become an active part of the learning process and teaching them effective ways to coach their new drivers.

Skills & Attitudes

We will teach your student not only the physical skills but also the mental skills required for safe driving. This includes, how to think behind the wheel, how to plan ahead and how to anticipate the actions of other drivers.

Pam Homer

Hi! My name is Pam Homer and I am a classroom and behind-the-wheel instructor, as well as a state certified DOL examiner. I am a part of a dynamic team that work together to provide the best foundation for each student to be successful in their driving career. My background is in transportation. I have been involved in pupil transportation for over thirty years and am a state certified trainer for school bus drivers also. Being involved with students and safety have been paramount in my career.

I have had a lot of experience in working with students who may have issues with traditional learning. There are several different ways that each of us learn, and I try to incorporate that in my teaching style. My commitment to students is to help them be the most aware and safe drivers on the road. I want each student to feel as though they matter and are important. I look forward to seeing each student out on the road, driving safely and being responsible. I have been in this community for over 30 years and have a genuine interest in the community. I am an avid supporter of Cool Desert Nights, high school musical theatre and camping at the coast with my very large extended family. My grandchildren are the light of my life!

Our team of instructors work very well together and have a high level of insight, knowledge and combined teaching techniques. I feel that all students can benefit regardless of their learning or driving capabilities or their comfort level.

I was born and raised in the Tri-Cities & have 2 sons and a daughter-in-law. I also have 2 dogs named Lexi & Jake. I am a certified medical assistant and have many years of experience working in the customer service industry. I love to sing karaoke and sing with the Praise choir whenever I have the opportunity.

Debbie Bayless

Hi! My name is Debbie Bayless and I am a classroom and behind the wheel instructor for Premier Driving School. I graduated from Kennewick High School, attended Columbia Basin College and Eastern Washington University. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Education. I have taught all age groups K-12, and have found that I really enjoy working with teens. I currently work as a full-time Success Coordinator at Kennewick High School and part time at Premier Driving School.

I still remember when I got my own license at 16. This is such an exciting time for teens and yet a huge responsibility. I enjoy teaching Drivers’ Education. This is such an important life-skill and an exciting milestone in a teenager’s life. I want to instill in my students what a huge responsibility this is that they are taking on. Getting a driver’s license is very exciting, but it also is a huge responsibility. I think that a lot of teens overlook that responsibility. I enjoy biking, yoga and traveling in my free time.
